ADVERTISEMENT FOR SALE OF HARRIS TOWN EQUIPMENT
The Harris Town Board will be accepting bids for:
1) 1-2013 Silverado 3500 HD 4-wheel drive (white) standard cab/pickup truck. The truck has a 6.6 Duramax engine, Allison transmission, 8-1/2 ft Snow Dogg V-plow, 8’ box, power steering, power brakes, power windows, charcoal/cloth seats, new pitman arm, new power breaks, am/fm radio and air conditioning. (yearly maintenance).Miles: 81,700.
The minimum bid to be accepted by the township for the purchase of this truck is $22,000.00.
2) 1-2010 ASV TEREX PT60. This ASV has a Perkins Engine. Tracks were replaced in 2024, has new sprockets, and comes with a bucket. Hours: 2,759.
The minimum bid to be accepted by the township for the purchase of this ASV is $27,000.00.
Bids will be accepted from May 14, 2026 to June 4, 2026 by 5:00 pm.
All interested parties are requested to send their sealed bid specifying the amount of their bid for either the Truck or ASV (or both), to the Harris Township Chair at the following address:

The board will review all sealed bids at a Work Session at the Harris Town Hall, scheduled for Monday, June 8, 2026, at 5:30 pm. The highest bid will be awarded at the June 10, 2026, Regular Board Meeting.
If there is tie for the highest bid, the postmarked date, and the order it was received, will then be used.

The highest bidder will be responsible for picking up their equipment at the Harris Township Maintenance Service Center, 20876 Wendigo Park Road, Grand Rapids MN, at a mutually agreed upon date and time. A proof of insurance for the truck will need to be provided.
